Ampache

Anyone run Ampache? I have it running on a server at home and I can now stream all of my MP3s remotely. Not to mention create a great frontend for organizing my endless amount of MP3s. I know Derby is utilizing this software as well. Anyone else out there enjoy this wonderful open source PHP based software?

My next move is to build a module to integrate Ampache into Drupal. I have heard that Ampache will work with Mambo/Joomla & phpnuke. Why not Drupal? Maybe this can be the first module "CDMUG" releases. Maybe we can setup a code sprint event and accomplish this task as a group.

That would be a great feature

+ 1 Ampache is such an awesome package - it would be great to see a Drupal module. I think it would be a great addition to the Drupal open source project. I've been wishing that it didn't require a desktop media player to play/stream mp3's. A feature request would be to setup a podcast style embed field.
