DCC Planning Update

We've had some late changes to the next planned DCC meeting. It was going to be on Tuesday, April 29th, 2008 @ 8pm. Below is the update information.

Healing up nicely, a few complications from medications has set me back a bit and I have a couple of trips scheduled in March, but I should be back to full speed in April

DCC Committee & Website

We had the 1st chat on Monday.

  • We were able to organized a DCC committee.
  • We are still looking for more volunteers
  • We will be setting up a official DCC website soon.

More detailed information will be posted on the DCC website, stay tuned,

Hey all,

Sorry if my comment on the DCC announcement seemed hasty or provocative. I wasn't intending on hurting anyones feelings or rocking the boat, so to speak. I look forward to planning meetings on Freenode (a wonderful idea), and contributing as much as I can!

1st DCC Chat

Dont miss the 1st DCC planning chat.

Monday (8PM-12Midnight) on freenode.net (#cdmug).

A more formal planning committee with delegation of responsibility, a strategic plan, and all that boring but helpful stuff will be decided at the first couple chat events. After the "committee" is formed, the committee will meet at the "Camp Planning" events at onShore. So far we have two camp planning events, but we can add more. Plus the weekly freenode (#cdmug) chats.

I was actually planning on contacting you.

We will have weekly meetings 8PM - 12 Midnight in #cdmug on freenode and there is plenty of time. I would be honored to hear your wisdom on Drupal Camping. Kyle and I will be online every week. Join us whenever you have some extra time.
