Drupal Install Night was a great success. We must have installed 7 or so new websites in 3 or 4 different environments (Windows, Linux, Dedicated Virtual Server, etc.) Also there was an educational "d.o" discussion about the new Pro Drupal Development book. For example we discussed how the Drupal plumbing handles a web page request (outlined in the books 1st chapter on page 8). I can't speak for everyone but I'm sure we'd agree that Drupal has an incredibly flexible CMS framework. The one thing we might not agree on is how to pronounce "Drup-al" or "Dru-pal".

Also this month' s CDMUG event was against the Chicago Bulls Playoff Game, but I was getting the score sent via SMS and Matthew always sets up a CDMUG wifi network via OnShore for each attendees laptop. <--- (Thank you~!)

A Drupal Test Drive was also installed, check it out here.

Next month's meeting is going to be our CDMUG In The Sky (1 Year Anniversary) event. RSVP soon, space is limited.

One last thing about the May 17th, Drupal Install Night: I noticed another option that is available for the Installing Drupal: "Version Control". You need to modify the way you install Drupal - outlined on page 324, "Taking Advantage of Version Control". With the CVS-Aware installed you can go back and get a line by line report of code changes made by you or your team from a local environment and also compare modified modules/core against the "d.o" download package.
