Spine-Health is looking for a Lead Developer who is enthusiastic about developing a next generation web site, enjoys working in a dynamic, user centric environment, and brings an innovative and fresh perspective to challenging programming projects. As a member of the Spine-Health team, you will design, develop and manage our award-winning web site.
Spine-Health.com provides the most comprehensive, physician-written content for spine and pain management-related issues and hosts a vibrant, active community of users, doctor directory, and more. The site currently has just under 1 million unique monthly visitors and 3.5 million monthly page views and growing rapidly.
Work Location: Deerfield, IL (Chicago area) - conveniently located next to the train station on Lake Cook road and in between highways 294 and 94.
Responsibilities include:
- Overall site development and management
- Rapidly developing new applications and content areas within the site
- Server configuration and management
- Database development and management
- Working closely with SEO to rapidly grow traffic
- Rapidly expanding and enhancing interactive user experience - message boards, chats, blogs, tools, etc
Primary technical skills and requirements:
- Minimum of two years programming experience in one or more of the following – drupal, php, linux, mysql, large/multi-database expertise, with concrete examples of your work
- Project experience - Proven success utilizing technical skills to deliver business solutions
- Content Management Systems – experience with Drupal strongly desired
- LAMP – Linux, Apache MySQL, PHP
