Input Format: Wiki Syntax

matthew's picture

I have installed various modules to create a new input format entitled "Wiki Syntax". This is now the default input format. If you wish to create content with HTML, make sure to change the input formation option. Wiki syntax is very clear, easy to use, and saves tons of time when creating content for web sites.

Please view this cheat sheet for a quick tutorial on how to utilize Wiki syntax.

Matthew,

Good tip. At one point I was looking for a contributed module for this, I didn't realize you could configure different input types.... must have missed that somehow.

To bad the target tutorial seems to be having trouble today.

The tutorial has been down for at least a week. I setup wiki syntax on some other websites a few months ago. To save time I setup a Drupal install directory with all of the modules and changes ready to go. So I kind of cheated when I applied the input format for cdmug. I just copied stuff over from other sites :).

I assume the tutorial will be back on line soon enough.

I followed this tutorial on how to setup wiki syntax. I basically downloaded/enabled all of the modules below. Then went into the settings for admin/input formats and configured the format.

Modules installed related to wiki syntax.
