Drupal Association

The Drupal Association announced that the next Drupalcon will be held in Szeged, Hungary from August 27 to 30, 2008 in the Library and Conference Center of the Szeged University.

Drupalcon 2009? Drupal Association is currently planning the 2009 Drupalcon in North America and Europe. Submit your proposals and ideas now.

I have an idea I think we should present to the Drupal Association.

There should be ways for user group members to receive discounts on events, traveling, hotels, etc. Maybe each user group can register with the association and allocate X amount of discounted items. I assume this would mainly for Drupalcons specifically, but may apply elsewhere in the future.

Crell announced at the February meetup, that organizations can join the Drupal association. It is essential for CDMUG to join the group as quickly as possible.
